DELIVERY COSTS

Individual Items

We use a courier service or furniture removalist for all our products Australia wide. To find out the delivery cost of any of the product(s), add the item(s) to your cart, then go to the cart page and enter your postcode and suburb/town in the Calculate Shipping button. Delivery costs are based on the number of items you order, their weight and dimensions and your location. 

We have a flat rate of $110 shipping to Sydney postcodes 2000 - 2234 for orders over $350. You can also pick up your order from our warehouse in Alexandria in Sydney.

We only deliver to street addresses and NOT to PO BOXES.

Furniture Package or Several Large Items

Once you have clicked on the PACKAGE QUOTE button and filled out the form we will advise you of the delivery costs for all the items in the Package. 

The delivery cost for both individual pieces and packages to the Sydney metropolitan area is an $110 flat fee for orders over $350. We will contact you to advise the day and time of delivery.

DELIVERY TIMES

We use reputable courier companies and furniture delivery companies for our delivery service. We generally despatch within 3 working days of receipt of order (unless it is during the Christmas and New Year period where despatch is 2-3 weeks from order). The delivery time with couriers is 2 to 10 working days. Please note that there may be delays with couriers which are beyond our control.

Individual items – We email you a courier tracking link so you can track the delivery day. Some courier companies may also text you on the delivery day to confirm. If a product is out of stock, we will indicate the availability date on the product page. This date may change due to unexpected shipping and/or customs delays.

Furniture Packages – The items in the Furniture Packages may be delivered at different times depending on availability. We will advise you of delivery times upon receipt of your order.

RECEIPT OF DELIVERY  

We recommend that you are at home at the time of delivery. If you are not at home, the courier will leave a card and return the goods to its' local depot. You will then need to call the courier to arrange re-delivery. This will entail a further cost to the customer.
 
If the delivery is with a furniture removalist and you are not at home at the allocated time slot, you will be liable for a further full delivery cost and possibly a storage fee.
 
If you anticipate that you will not be at home and would like the courier to leave your order in a safe place, please include these instructions in the Special Instructions field on the Cart page.
 
If you have not indicated that you will not be at home at the time of your order, you can post a note on your front door giving permission for the courier to leave the package unattended.
 
Boxes are delivered to inside the front door. We are not responsible for the assembly or installation of any items. Once they are received, the purchaser is responsible for moving and unpacking the boxes and placing the items in the preferred positions and protecting any floor covering. We do not remove the item(s) from the box and take away the packaging material and the boxes from your home.
 
Orders are delivered to houses with level access or apartments with lift access only.  
 
Please contact us on info@lavenderhillinteriors.com.au before completing your order if you have any of the following conditions at your premises, as there may be an additional handling fee:
  • Steep driveway or stairs leading to the front door
  • No lift access in an apartment block
  • Unsealed road
  • Access restriction due to construction or other debris
