DELIVERY COSTS

We use reputable courier companies and furniture removalists for our delivery services. We outsource deliveries as we are a small company and we do not have our own trucks therefore we do not have any control over the delivery/run schedule and cannot guarantee certain days or times for delivery.

To find out the delivery cost of any product(s), add the item(s) to your Cart, then go to the Cart page and enter your postcode and suburb/town in the Shipping Rates Calculator. Delivery costs are based on the number of items you order, the weight and dimensions and your location. 

REQUESTED SPLIT DELIVERIES

The delivery cost charged applies to one delivery per order. If you have requested to receive all items that are in stock to be delivered first, the second delivery of items which you are waiting to come into stock, will be charged at the full delivery rate. 

If products are in stock and sent by a courier, we generally despatch within 3 working days of receipt of order. The delivery time with couriers is between 2 to 10 working days. Please note that there may be delays with couriers which are beyond our control.

If the delivery is with a furniture removalist we will advise the day and a delivery time frame. If you are not at home at the allocated time slot, you will be liable for a further full delivery cost and possibly a storage fee. Boxes are delivered to inside the front door. We are not responsible for theassembly orinstallation of any items. Once they are received, the purchaser is responsible for moving and unpacking the boxes and placing the items in the preferred positions and protecting any floor covering.We do not remove the item(s) from the box or take away the packaging material and the boxes from your home.

You can also pick up your order from our warehouse in Alexandria in Sydney within 2 weeks of order.

We only deliver to street addresses and NOT to PO BOXES.

Once you have clicked on the DESIGN YOUR OWN FURNITURE PACKAGE button and filled out the form we will advise you of the delivery costs for all the items in the Package.

Once a package order is made and the products are in stock, we will contact you to advise the day and time of delivery.

DELIVERY TIMES

We outsource deliveries as we are a small company and we do not have our own trucks thereforewe do not have any control over the delivery/run schedule and cannot guarantee certain days or times for delivery.

If products are in stock and sent by a courier, we generally despatch within 3 working days of receipt of order (unless it is during the Christmas and New Year period where despatch is 2-3 weeks from order). The delivery time with couriers is 2 to 10 working days. Please note that there may be delays with couriers which are beyond our control.

We email you a courier tracking link so you can track the delivery day. Some courier companies may also text you on the delivery day to confirm. If a product is out of stock, we will indicate the availability date on the product page. This date may change due to unexpected shipping and/or customs delays.

The items in the Furniture Packages or Furniture Bundles may be delivered at different times depending on availability. We will advise you of delivery times upon receipt of your order.

Delivery times will vary depending on when the furniture removalist is delivering to your State or town.

RECEIPT OF DELIVERY

We recommend that you are at home at the time of delivery. If you are not at home, the courier will leave a card and return the goods to its local depot. You will then need to call the courier to arrange re-delivery. This will entail a further cost to the customer.

If you anticipate that you will not be at home and would like the courier to leave your order in a safe place, please include these instructions in the Special Instructions field on the Cart page.

If you have not indicated that you will not be at home at the time of your order, you can post a note on your front door giving permission for the courier to leave the package unattended.

If the delivery is with a furniture removalist and you are not at home at the allocated time slot, you will be liable for a further full delivery cost and possibly a storage fee.

Boxes are delivered to inside the front door. We are not responsible for the assembly or installation of any items. Once they are received, the purchaser is responsible for moving and unpacking the boxes and placing the items in the preferred positions and protecting any floor covering.

We do not remove the item(s) from the box or take away the packaging material and the boxes from your home.

Orders are delivered to houses with level access or apartments with lift access only.  

Please contact us on sales@lavenderhillinteriors.com.aubefore completing your order if you have any of the following conditions at your premises, as there may be an additional handling fee:

● Steep driveway or stairs leading to the front door

● No lift access in an apartment block

● Unsealed road

● Access restriction due to construction or other debris

We deliver Australia wide only. We do not deliver internationally.

Online Orders:Please let us know which day and time you would like to pick up and advise us at least 1 day prior to pick up so we can have your order ready. 

Showroom Orders:Please note that orders made in the showroom cannot be taken on the same day unless you have contacted us 1 day prior so we can organise to have the pieces ready for pick up.

● Pick ups must be made within 1 week of ordering.

● Please note that our storemen only work Monday to Friday to assist in loading your order into your car or van. If pick up is on a Saturday, please ensure that you have 2 people to pick up.
